COVID19 Preparedness and Response Plan


The purpose and intent of this “Plan” is to ensure that all Hallite employees know and understand expected policies and procedures that have been put into place to protect them, and our visitors. The measure we have put in place are intended to protect our employees and to minimize or eliminate employee’s exposure to SARS-CoV-2, and making sure everyone stays safe, healthy, and confident about being at work.

The following COVID-19 preparedness & response plan has been established for Hallite in accordance with MIOSHA Emergency Rules for Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The Emergency Rules have general safeguards applicable for all workplaces and specific safeguards for certain industries. The HSE Manager along with the H. R. Manager have read these emergency rules carefully, developed the safeguards appropriate to Hallite based on its type of business or operation, and has incorporated those safeguards into this COVID-19 preparedness and response plan.

Hallite has designated one or more worksite managers/supervisors to implement, monitor, and report COVID-19 control strategies developed in this plan. Managers/supervisors will remain on-site at all times when employees are present. Other on-site employees may be designated to perform these duties.

The plan will be readily available to our employees and their representatives. This plan will be available via our company website.

As we move forward together, we will rely on your individual actions to help keep us all protected, and in turn we will ensure you have the proper tool, equipment and policies you need to stay healthy.

To minimize the spread of COVID-19, physical distancing (social distancing) is always the preferred method, where possible.
