Custom engineering
While many of our parts are catalogue items, we do also offer custom engineering for sealing solutions that require a little (or a lot!) more special attention. During the initial phases of a custom engineering request, our engineering staff works with you to determine what are the challenges unique to your application.
When assessing your application needs, our sealing engineers and technical teams valuate a number of factors, such as:
- Media compatibility
- Temperature
- Pressure
- Environment (wet or dry)
- Continuous or cyclical loads
- Static stress or dynamic conditions
From there we decide the best seal material and design to recommend for your application.
