Position Summary
This position is responsible for assuring the Hallite standards of Safety, Quality and productivity are met and sustained. Completes the required procedures as stated in the Hallite Operating System (HOS). To grow and embrace the Hallite Way of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up of all CNC and secondary equipment in an efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to set ups and process concerns.
- Manage tool life, insert and tool changes, and orderly control and storage of tooling and all aspects dealing with Set ups and day to day manufacturing.
- Assist with training machine operators.
- Loading the saw and ensuring quality and correct bar stock when needed.
- Driving the forklift to assist with material handling duties when needed.
- Prepare and maintain necessary paperwork.
- Ensures the quality of the work coming from their department; follows Company quality practices and procedures, ensuring that the proper documentation is completed and maintained.
- Fills in for Supervisor when absent.
- Preserves a neat, orderly, and clean department while promoting and ensuring safety at all times.
- Effectively communicates with and motivates employees in support of departmental Company objectives.
- Embraces Hallites culture of continous improvement and makes suggestions to improve processes.
