Position Summary

This position is responsible for assuring the Hallite standards of Safety, Quality and productivity are met and sustained. Completes the required procedures as stated in the Hallie Operating System (HOS). To grow and embrace the Hallite Way of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspects all assigned equipment on a daily basis and performs any necessary preventative or required maintenance to said equipment.
  • Maintains preventive maintenance logs.
  • Analyzes equipment and systems, develops corrective actions and carries out same.
  • Provides Manufacturing Engineering Manager with regular updates on maintenance issues and the seriousness of such issues or problems.
  • Completes maintenance repairs in designated areas or as assigned to them.
  • Completes maintenance repair forma and updates log.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Participates in sourcing and ordering necessary parts/components to maintain an adequate inventory to perform repairs of critical equipment.
  • Participates as a member f the safety committee as assigned.
  • Participates in projects related to the acquisition of new equipment, equipment modification or Kaizen events as required.
  • Responsible for training on startup of peripheral machinery and the functions that they perform.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in CNC machine repair.
  • Experience in working with high voltages (480 and 240 volts) and wiring.
  • Working knowledge in schematics and print reading.
  • Knowledge in the use of robots and their programming.
  • Ability to work in computer-based programs and maintenance software.
  • The understanding of hydraulics and pumps.
  • Trouble shooting skills for plc issues.
