Hallite Seals International Ltd is committed to protecting the environment and the worlds natural resources for the present and future generations.

Environmental statement

1.1 Hallite Seals International Limited recognises its moral and legal duty to ensure the Health, Safety and Welfare of its employees and anyone else who visits the premises or may be affected by its activities.

1.2 Providing and maintaining a safe and secure working environment is the first priority of all Directors, Managers, and employees at every level of the business, and is an integral element of our business plan and other resource policies.

1.3 We comply with all applicable Safety and Environmental legislation, regulations, and standards as a minimum with the intention of achieving best industry practice wherever possible.

1.4 Our activities are defined as a series of inter-related processes which are continually measured and improved by emphasising attention to detail and the elimination of waste.

1.5 We operate on a risk-based approach to ensure that all risks to safety, the environment, customer satisfaction and Business Continuity are eliminated, or controlled and minimised as far as possible.

1.6 We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and enhancing the sustainability of our activities, with any negative impacts on the environment minimised as far as possible.

1.7 We aim to produce products which are defect free and delivered on time in full.

1.8 We maintain Certification to International Standards for Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management (ISO9001:2015, ISO45001:2018, and ISO14001:2015)

1.9 Our Aerospace Business Unit maintains certification to AS9100:D

1.10 We ensure that anyone working on our behalf is sufficiently skilled and competent.

1.11 We facilitate a positive reporting culture where everyone on site is encouraged and able to easily bring safety, sustainability, and quality issues to the attention of the relevant people.

1.12 We ensure all individuals are respected and can make their opinion heard on issues relating to safety, sustainability, and quality.

1.13 We aim to have a positive impact on the community we operate in.

1.14 We are committed to continually improving our Management System and review at regular intervals to ensure that this policy, as well as all objectives and procedures that support it, remain relevant and effective.
